also, limit equilibrium analyses applied in practice should as a minimum use a method that satisfies both force and monment equilibrium, such as the Morgenstern Price or Spencer methods. With the software tools now available, it is just as easy to use one of the mathematicially more rigorous methods than to use the simpler methods that only satisfy some of the statics equations.

不是的，没有软件的辅助的时候，用严格的方法比较麻烦
现在好了，因为有了geo－slope，可以用严格的方法了，不那么费事了

因为以前无论是Bishop法还是Janbu法，都只是满足一个平衡方程——力平衡或者力矩平衡，所以计算出来的结果差别比较大。现在SLOPE/W中提供了同时满足力平衡和力矩平衡的 Morgenstern Price法，这样计算出来的安全系数就比较准确了，从理论的角度来看，也更加严密了。

我在海堤稳定计算时用Bishop法，但是在专家审查时那帮老同志非说要用瑞典法才行，搞不懂只好改了。有人帮我回答吗。我自己这样理解：是不是当初出规范时Bishop法计算不方便所以安全系数是按瑞典法标准确定的？
