SINDA/FLUINT Version 5.1新版本功能:
增加可变分子量流体模型种类 Variable Molecular Weight Fluid Species—6000 series FPROP DATA blocks now support an optional feature: a molecular weight that varies as a function of pressure and temperature. This option facilitates the modeling of complex mixtures, perhaps internally reacting or dissociating/recombining, such as ionized gases and hot products of combustion. It may be used alone or in combination with the chemical reactions described next.
化学反应Chemical Reactions—The ability to model finite rate (“reacting flow”) chemical reactions has been added. This capability takes in the form of species mass sink/source terms for FLUINT tanks within transients (or within STDSTL, but not FASTIC). The corresponding heat of reaction is applied on the basis of heat of formation added to the species fluid description (FPROP DATA block). A reaction rate utility routine (EQRATE) is available to help define chemical equations, and perhaps to drive the reaction to a desired state (as defined by either equilibrium fractions, or by reaction/ combustion efficiencies). One of the product species might be a variable molecular weight fluid, eliminating the need to track many products of combustion by using a single equivalent species instead.

Improved import capabilities for symbols, orbits, and case sets: users are presented a form that allows them to choose which data to import and are also prompted before overwriting existing data.

Optical and thermophysical property names no longer have a 32 character name length limit.
Purge Symbols has been improved to display a list of symbols to be purged and allow the user to select which symbols to delete. The symbols are listed by groups.

Heatload can now be a function of time and temperature.
Heater sensing can now be maximum, minimum or area-weighted average temperature of sensing surface, or can be specified by user logic.
Proportional heater option available in steady state.
Ablation can be calculated using a given rate as a function of applied heat load; this allows ablation to be matched to test data.
Stray nodes will automatically be placed in a STRAYNODES group when case sets are run.
Fluid selection modified in Conductor forms for convection-based conductors.
Node numbers have been made easier to view with longer lead lines and color will always contrast with background, when using black/white background.
Export node data now allows exporting node locations in WCS or current UCS.
RadCAD:
Parallel Processing for RadCAD calculations with AutoCAD 2007 and higher.
Improved database compression for less solution overhead with large models.
Default space temperature changed from 0 K to 2.73 K (4.91 R).
FloCAD:
Advection (solid mass transport) added to Pipes for pipe walls.
Fluid submodel properties modified to allow fluid selection by browsing.
Contactors available for ends of pipes.
Pipe contactors reflect actual edge length and area instead of using conics thin surface approximation.
Lump Edit Form Tabbed with Gas Dissolution/Evolution data added.
Path phase and species suction data tab added to edit form.
Tooltips for fluid objects display initial conditions when not in post processing mode.
Toolbar Icon added for Fluid Submodel Manager.
RcPipePlot command added to plot lump variables as function of distance along a pipe.
Radiation Page available for Pipe multi-edit mode.
Paths, Ties, FTies and IFaces can all select twin lump attachments.
